CASA GUANCHE
A 7-room property with ensuite bunk rooms.
All our wooden bunk beds, custom made by our local craftsmen, are in keeping with the historic nature of the property but fully robust.
We have imported hotel-standard quality cotton linens with anti-allergy pillows and duvets from the UK to ensure a great night’s sleep after a day in the field.
Our large presentation room/dining room has ample seating and robust table space for students to work, with a projector and WIFI.
Each bed has a mains usb charger port by the nightstand for phones and electronics so students won’t need to bring bulky adaptors. The bedside lights can be unplugged and used wirefree as table lamps or torches.
GROUP BOOKINGS and RATES
Groups of over 20 people at our standard rate can enjoy exclusive use of both properties and the pool.
Groups wanting more affordable accommodation can book Casa Guanche at our discounted rate without access to the pool on a self-catering basis.
We work with fabulous local private caterers who offer delicious menus mixing local and international cuisine.
We round off our field trips with either a woodfired Argentine bbq by the pool or home cooked paella – your choice!
All our bookings are covered by our NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE and ENHANCED CLEANING protocols.
We are members of ABTA, the UK travel association, so your booking is protected.
Our field trip centre offers
The Field Trip centre is housed in our historic Canarian strong house at 800m of altitude that commands dramatic and uninterrupted 180-degree views to the sea. Home to noble Spanish families in years gone by, its fine features are a showcase of the best of local architecture and materials with thick stone walls of local volcanic origin and fully-restored wooden floors made of “téa”, the solid core of the native Canarian Pine Tree (Pinus canariensis).
