Hydrogeochemical and soil CO2 efflux monitoring are fundamental activities in our geochemical monitoring programme for the volcanic surveillance of the oceanic active volcanic island of Tenerife where 5 of the 16 Canary Islands’ historical eruptions have occurred.
The selected undergraduate student for this programme will collaborate with field and lab work related to the INVOLCAN’s hydrogeochemical and soil CO2 efflux monitoring for volcanic surveillance in Tenerife, Canary Islands. The student will perform field and lab work in a weekly basis.
During this program the student will learn how to:
