After the declaration of the end of the eruption on the 25th, monitoring still continues as the focus now turns to disaster recovery. PEVOLCA is keen to note that volcanic dangers still persist in this phase and the red traffic light remains in force, so the population must respect the exclusion zones and civil protection measures. 

The first aims for the recovery effort are planning the repair work of basic and essential services, including the cleaning of access roads and rehousing evacuated populations, where possible. Initial trials were conducted to test the ability to move material from the coolest lava flows in La Laguna, and the results were satisfactory both in terms of gas levels and temperatures observed.

Regarding the monitoring of the volcano, deformation remained stable and tremor remains at background levels. 32 earthquakes were recorded, peaking at M2.3 with 31 <M2.0, largely at intermediate (<20 km) depths. The level of SO2 emissions from the plume were maintained from the previous days, registering a low (50-500 tonnes per day) value, and air quality remains good in all stations with respect to both PM10 and SO2 concentrations.
