Field School courses 2022/23

GeoTenerife works with the leading institutions on the island to offer innovative field training camps in a range of disciplines. The camps combine educational elements from top local experts and hands-on work experience in some truly privileged environments, including the Teide National Park and the unique Laurel forest. All camps are run in English.

Applications for our Field School, if successful, are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Our Field School is run in accordance to a number of Terms and Conditions which you can read here.

VOLCANOCAMP

HYDROCAMP

September 2023

Two-week Hydrology training and field work programme based in Tenerife and la Palma, assisting in our ongoing water research project in conjunction with a range of experts and institutions.

MARINESCICAMP

November / December 2023

GeoTenerife Marine Science Training Camp in association with the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC).

To include residential onboard research experience with the team responsible for the ongoing monitoring of underwater volcanoes in the Canary Islands.
