Reduced earthquake numbers but a magnitude above 3.5 mbLg is maintained.

Effusive/Strombolian behaviour

Since the last statement, 26 earthquakes have been located in the southern part of the island of La Palma, this value is considerably less than the previous days. Two of the earthquakes have been felt by the population, one of them with maximum intensity IV at 10.45 UTC yesterday from an earthquake with a hypocenter at 13 km depth and magnitude 3.5 mbLg. The volcanic tremor signal had a small rise in the last 12 h but continues at low values with respect to the values observed throughout the eruption. The island’s network of permanent GNSS stations shows that after the reversal of vertical deformation at station LP03 it remains at a lower level than previously established. On the other hand, the station continues to register deformation towards the south. In the rest of the stations, the slight deflation possibly related to deep seismicity has moderated. In view of the calibrated image, a column height of 2,900 masl is estimated by IGN at 08:45 UTC (IGN, 2021).

This video taken on the 12th of November shows RGB and thermal data of the lava flows which now terminate at the sea, adding to the new lava deltas. Sourced from IGME (2021).
