SalvarElPuertito discusses greenwashing of Cuna del Alma

Social media

Salvar El Puertito posts a video to Instagram to display the greenwashing on the Cuna del Alma website in comparison to the real actions occurring in El Puertito.

“The unsustainable lies of Cuna del Alma. While they say they will protect biodiversity, they are destroying endemic and protected species. They talk about ‘respect for the environment’ while they destroy the only virgin enclave left in the southwest of Tenerife.
Behind the words ‘restoration’ and ‘sustainability’ lies the harsh reality of urban speculation and the destruction of a natural paradise.
We continue to fight so that this project plagued by illegalities and lies does not take place on our land.” @SalvarElPuertito

Cuna del Alma

“We started with Sharon from GeoTenerife talking about the Cuna del Alma project, the IGME petition to protect the geological formations of El Puertito and the Apadrina una Roca campaign. Eneida took us through the current situation of the Barranco de Arguineguín, the great destruction that is taking place, how it has affected life and how it has changed the lives of the inhabitants of the ravine. Orlando Santana presented ‘Bienvenidas al año de la Serpiente’ an interdisciplinary show which will take place on the 28th. Maria Santa read us her award-winning poem ‘Convalecer’.” (Ivoox, 2025)
