Pre-eruptive seismic activity prompts the yellow traffic light and evacuations

PEVOLCA recommended to the Directorate of the Plan to keep the Traffic light yellow for the municipalities of the Cumbre Vieja, specifically, Fuencaliente, Los Llanos de Aridane, El Paso and Mazo; “There is still no clear evidence of an imminent eruption” (Gobierno de Canarias, 2021).
