The Cabildo of La Palma has proposed a modification of the island plan that more closely considers the natural risks present in the territory. Modification number 4 of the Insular Development Plan of La Palma (Piolp) aims to “allow for planning based on the level of risk for the different environmental vectors” and to set “objectives and measures to minimise the risk of existing sites and infrastructures.”
